Alongside the official theatrical release date, Toei Animation debuted a stunning new key visual and a teaser trailer on the official Girls Band Cry YouTube channel. The newly released teaser visual places Nina Iseri, the passionate and strong-willed lead vocalist of the central band TOGENASHI TOGEARI, directly at the center of the composition holding a microphone. She is flanked by her four core bandmates: guitarist Momoka Kawaragi, drummer Subaru Awaya, keyboardist Tomo Ebizuka, and bassist Rupa.

The accompanying teaser trailer provides fans with a high-fidelity preview of the film's narrative direction, indicating that the plot will center on TOGENASHI TOGEARI embarking on their first major nationwide music tour. The footage highlights upgraded concert animation sequences, fluid character movements, and glimpses of brand-new original rock tracks produced specifically for the cinematic experience.

The creative team responsible for the success of the television series has officially returned to helm this cinematic sequel. Kazuo Sakai occupies the director's chair at Toei Animation once again, ensuring narrative continuity and keeping the raw, energetic pacing intact.

Renowned scriptwriter Jukki Hanada returns to handle the screenplay and series composition, while Nari Teshima oversees the distinctive character designs. The highly praised musical identity of the franchise remains under the leadership of music producer Kenji Tamai and composer Yūsuke Tanaka from agehasprings. Furthermore, the CG animation workflow continues to be guided by CG directors Jae Hoon Jung and Daiki Nakazawa, promising a significant visual upgrade that leverages a higher cinematic budget.
